TEMPE, AZ — The Arizona State University Sun Devils' women's soccer team will make its first appearance in the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship in seven years later this month.

That's because the Sun Devils, who finished the regular season with a 8-5-2 record, cliched a spot in the tournament on Monday, facing off against Siena University in the opening round of the tournament at 9 a.m. MST on April 28.

ASU women's soccer head coach Graham Winkworth called the team's inclusion in the event a blessing for players and coaches alike.
