The system serves up cold, crisp, carbonated beverages and on tap (no power required)

CHICAGO (PRWEB) August 09, 2022

Today Cooler Keg launched a crowdfunding campaign for their namesake product, an ultra portable stainless steel cooler and draft system that keeps kegs fully carbonated and frosty cold. Not just limited to beer, it handles bubbly, hard seltzers, craft cocktails, soda, tonic, and more. Users can fill the kegs with any bottle, can, or growler. It is available starting at the early bird price of $599 USD on the Indiegogo platform.

Cooler Keg co-founders Anthony Bernas and Racine Gruberman came up with the idea for Cooler Keg on one of their annual lakehouse trips. "For more than a decade, we've spent a lot of time with friends floating on the lake. Each year, we try to step up our floating game—adding anchors, better floats, and coolers," said Bernas. "One year we were floating and talking about how epic it would be if we had a swim-up bar where we could get beer on tap."

"As an avid home brewer, it dawned on me that I could make it happen," continued Bernas. "I had a set up for CO₂-driven beer at home in my bar, so I realized I would just have to shrink the components down small enough to fit inside a cooler. The cooler would keep the beer sufficiently cold and it would be able to go anywhere. 18 months later, my second prototype for Cooler Keg was complete and ready to roll."

Cooler Keg provides flexibility to satisfy everyone's cravings. Everything from IPAs to hard seltzers to craft cocktails can be served up perfectly on draft. Two 228oz kegs provide enough volume for 36 12oz drinks in total and an internal CO₂ system carbonates the beer and powers the taps. It sets up in minutes, doesn't require electricity, and is simple to clean. To enjoy a favorite drink on tap, users simply need to pour their beverage of choice into the wide mouth keg, place the custom ice packs and kegs in the cooler, attach the kegs to the draft tower, turn on the CO₂, serve, and enjoy.

"Beer enthusiasts will agree that true draft beer must be CO₂-driven, like what is available at bars and restaurants," said co-founder Racine Gruberman. "Lots of options exist, but they fall short in a few areas. For example, standard kegs are bulky, hard to keep cool, and require a manual pump to pour the beer. Growlers don't hold carbonation well. Kegerators require electricity. Jockey boxes typically use commercial kegs. Our aim with Cooler Keg was to create a system that is super easy to set up and haul around that would also get amazing results in terms of carbonation and temperature control."

Backers will get everything required to get started including two mini kegs, custom fit ice packs, beverage holder lid, a regulator with attached T splitter, lines and keg couplers, draft tower with two taps and attached beverage lines, food grade silicon for lubricating connections, set of spare rubber gaskets, four CO₂ cartridges, sanitizer, and cleaner. Additional CO₂ cartridges, sanitizer, and cleaner will be available on the Cooler Keg website at a later date.

The estimated delivery date of Cooler Keg is winter 2022. Media wishing to interview their personnel should contact PR agent, Jackson Wightman.
