Patients at Reading Health System’s McGlinn Cancer Institute received blankets on Monday as part of the “Subaru Loves to Care” campaign for warmth and physical and emotional care as they undergo treatment.

For the fourth year in a row, Steve Moyer Subaru in Leesport teamed up with the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to work with the local cancer center to present blankets.

The society has helped millions impacted by cancer throughout its 70-year history, funding breakthrough research to advance lifesaving treatments and cures, according to a news release from the society.

And across the country, Subaru of America and the society have donated tens of thousands of blankets to cancer patients.
