KALAMAZOO, MI — The Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday voted by a thin margin to approve a resolution in support of the person in charge of the health department and its mask mandate, Health Officer James Rutherford.

The board has been split on some issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the 6-5 vote in support of Rutherford Tuesday was just the most recent example.
