3 more Doña Ana County virus cases brings total to 16

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico – New Mexico state health officials on Thursday announced 24 new confirmed coronavirus cases, with three of those additional cases being in Doña Ana County.

The latest Doña Ana infections involved three men in their 20s, bringing the countywide case total to 16. The new cases, along with most or all of the others, are believed to be travel-related.

New Mexico now has 136 total reported virus cases. Bernalillo County, which is the Albuquerque metro, leads the way with 55; Santa Fe County is second with 22; while Doña Ana ranks third.
