Murder suspect turns himself in after shooting

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) - Early Saturday morning Decatur police responded to a call of shots being fire on Wimberly Drive.
Once officers arrived they found Marcus Lashawn White, 26, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital where he later died of his wounds.
His body was then transported to the Alabama Department of Forensics lab in Huntsville.
Witnesses at the scene named Olajuwon Deshaun White, 22, as the shooter. The victim and suspect are not related.
White turned himself in to Decatur police and was subsequently charged with murder.
He is now in the Morgan County Jail with a $1000,000 bond.
