Obituary: David John Panagrossi, 59, formerly of Hamden

David proudly served in the U.S. Navy and worked as an inside sales representative for The Star Supply Company of New Haven for 25 years.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) David John Panagrossi, 59 of North Haven, formerly of Hamden died suddenly at his home on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

He was the beloved husband of twenty two years to Judy Rice Panagrossi.

David was born in New Haven on October 26, 1961, a son of the late Donald and Josephine Benivegna Panagrossi.

He grew up in Hamden and moved to North Haven twenty one years ago. He was a 1979 graduateof Hamden High School. David was an inside sales representative for The Star Supply Company of New Haven for the past twenty five years, and proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy from 1979 to 1983.

In addition to his wife Judy, David is survived by a sister, Janice Panagrossi of Florida, a brother, Donald (April) Panagrossi of Las Cruces, NM, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Alan and Bonnie Rice of Woodbridge, four nieces, Dayna (Wade) Flynn, Jessica Venditto, and Hilary and Jenna Rice, and two nephews, Bryan Panagrossi and John Venditto.

He was predeceased by his twin brother Kevin Paul Panagrossi.

David's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 19th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, March 20th at 10:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven.
