A crash caused backlogged traffic and a portion of Route 581 to shut down Wednesday morning, according to traffic maps.
As of 8 a.m., there is a lane restriction Route 581 east between exit 3 to Route 11 south (Carlisle Pike) and Route 15 south toward Gettysburg, according to 511PA.
The crash involved multiple vehicles, but it’s not immediately clear if anyone with injured. PennDOT cameras show traffic backed up for miles in the area.
