The Miami County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double fatal crash in Paola, Kansas.
First responders received a call of a single vehicle crash at 287th Street and Lake Miola Drive at 4:37 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies said a 2008 Chevrolet was traveling west on 287th Street when it left the roadway and struck a bridge pillar.
The driver and a passenger of the vehicle where transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
The two other passengers in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not said what was the cause of the accident.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the crash.
