Bloomer, John R., Sr age 78, of NE Mpls, passed away on January 13, 2021 at the University of MN Hospital. John was born in Amery, WI on June 26, 1942. Preceded in death by parents William and Gertrude; siblings, Robert, Rose, Helen & Richard. Survived by brother Kenneth and spouse of almost 57 years, Barbara. Together they have 5 children - Gary, Susan (David) Baker, Paul (Trisha), Amy Currier and John Jr.; 10 grandchildren - James (Kris Anne), Samantha, Joshua, Elizabeth, Michael (Caitlin) Paul, Alexandra, Daniel, Grace, and Luke; one great- grandchild, Odette, with Alice Elaine joining the family in May of 2021. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at St. Clement Catholic Church, 901 24th Ave., Mpls. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
