Bahrain reaffirmed the importance of disarmament and called to intensify efforts on nuclear weapons non-proliferation to achieve international security and stability. This came as Bahrain representative to the UN Ambassador Jamal Fares Alrowaiei yesterday addressed a session of the UN General Assembly first committee on disarmament and international security, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
