Nothing says summer fun like gathering up your tribe and hitting one (or two!) of the many music festivals that take over this country.

While there will be no Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival or Stagecoach country-music festival this year, there are several outdoor events scheduled and taking COVID-19 safety precautions.

The RiSE Festival brings together thousands of people of all ethnicities and backgrounds for the purpose of healing, growing and making lasting memories through the age-old tradition of releasing lanterns into the sky.

The beauty of RiSE is that it’s something that just has to be seen in person.

Upon entering the desert, attendees receive a mat to sit on, two paper lanterns and a marker to decorate their lanterns with written wishes or anxieties that they hope to release.

Bonnaroo (Creole slang for 'Good Stuff') features a diverse lineup of 150+ musicians and more.

This marks the four-day festival's 20th year at the Great Stage Park on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee.

It is among the biggest and most popular music festivals to announce its full (and impressive!) lineup in 2021.

With two headliners apiece for the weekend shows, including Foo Fighters and Megan Thee Stallion on Friday, Lizzo and Tame Impala on Saturday, and Tyler, The Creator and Lana Del Rey on Sunday.  

Taking the health of Bonnaroovians seriously, festival organizers say they are 'in regular communication with local health and public safety officials.' 

They also state on their website that they intend to abide by relevant recommendations to ensure a safe and enjoyable festival.

Electric Zoo is one of New York City’s largest music festivals and features big names in electronic music.

Heading into its twelfth edition, the international event is New York's premiere dance music gathering.
