Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine tested positive for the coronavirus moments before he was set to meet President Trump for his visit to Cleveland.

DeWine, a Republican, tested positive on Thursday during the standard testing that is completed by all individuals before they meet with the president. The governor’s office said that DeWine has “no symptoms at the present time.”

“Governor DeWine is returning to Columbus where he and first lady Fran DeWine, who also has no symptoms, will both be tested. Governor DeWine plans to follow protocol for COVID-19 and quarantine at his home in Cedarville for the next 14 days,” the statement read.

Ohio Lt. Gov. Jon Husted was also tested before meeting the president and tested negative for the virus.

DeWine is not the only person to find out they were positive for COVID-19 moments before meeting with the president. Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert tested positive just before boarding Air Force One last week.
