Susan Valentine, who won the jury’s vote in Gallery 529’s last show, “Farming” has two of her paintings in this show. Pictured is “Sun Tea on Aquinnah.” Susan just started painting a little over a decade ago, fitting with Gallery 529’s focus of highlighting new and emerging artists.

Doug Caves, Sr., of Fitchburg, who has had a long relationship with Gallery 529, both as a consignment artist and as a member, also has a painting of his in the show. “The River at Rachel Carson Sanctuary” features one of Caves’ beautiful landscapes.
