MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – Muhlenberg County health officials received a grant to help efforts in preventing cases of Hepatitis C.
They received a $69,000 grant from the Harm Reduction Coalition.
Department Director Cathy Bethel said the money will be used for prevention efforts, expanding services, and to train a staff member to be a recovery coach.
The grant was one of eight awarded across Kentucky, totaling more than $1 million.
