Dear Diary,
A really weird thing happened to me over the weekend.
To pass the time, I had been reading an obscure story by C.S. Lewis called The Dark Tower, and then dozed off into this dream that included Donald Trump.
For some reason I was doing a broadcast from his house – and he was a very gracious host – but as he was talking to me, whatever he had just eaten was making it hard to understand him, and I found myself saying, “Sir, you should speak more clearly because if the press can’t understand your words, they’ll choose the most negative interpretation.”
Yes – I was trying to be helpful! Me! A member of the media!
I think I’ll lay off the C.S. Lewis for awhile.
And since there’s a little more space on the page here, it also occurs to me how asymmetric biology is. You can get infected just by somebody breathing on you, and yet to be disinfected by the antibodies of someone who’s recovered, you need an injection.
Why shouldn’t recovered people also be able to just breathe on you to spread their antibodies? Wouldn’t that make more sense?
And you know what? Now that I feel I know Trump, I’m going to mention that to him in my next dream. Better get ready, Dr. Fauci.
