One additional COVID-19 case in Johnson County; 20 more deaths reported in Iowa
Another 20 people in Iowa with COVID-19 have died, the state reported Friday.
At 10 a.m. Friday, the state was reporting 520 COVID-19-related deaths, an increase of 20 deaths since the state's tally at 10 a.m. Thursday, according to the state's Coronavirus.Iowa.gov website.
The state is reporting a total of eight people with COVID-19 have died in Johnson County.
An additional 3,576 people were tested Thursday, bringing the total number of people tested to 146,275. The state is reporting a total of 18,792 positive cases in Iowa as of Friday morning.
COVID-19 is the respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus.
In Johnson County, as of 10 a.m. Friday, the state was reporting 608 COVID-19 cases, according to the state's website.
