TACX Fortius training bike: generate your own electricity through exergaming

If you like the treadmill workstation, you'll love TACX's Fortius training bike, which takes you on a virtual training course via your PC as you pedal away. In fact, we advise any and all exercise to be taken in front of a screen from here on out (does lifting the remote count?). The other interesting aspect of this particular exergaming incarnation is that the heat from the brakes of these training bikes is converted into current and fed back into the mains, so you produce your own energy while cycling. We've ordered a baker's dozen of these for Engadget HQ so we can set the interns to the wheel and finally go off the grid.
