Bobby Short Tribute Comes To Palm Desert

Seattle-based singer, pianist and musical director David DuVall performs his one-man tribute to the legendary Bobby Short, "So Naughty, So Nice, Songs Bobby Short Taught Me" on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2 pm at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert.

Bobby Short, who thrilled audiences at Cafe Carlyle in New York City from 1968 to 2004, was a cabaret singer and pianist known worldwide for his interpretations of Great American Songbook standards by popular composers from the first half of the 20th century, such as Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Harold Arlen, Noel Coward, and George and Ira Gershwin.

Tickets for "So Naughty, So Nice, Songs Bobby Short Taught Me" on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2 PM will be sold at door for $15 cash only. Box Office opens at 1 PM, with open seating at 1:30 PM. The Arthur Newman Theater in the Joslyn Center is located at 73750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert, CA.
