Liberty Township daycare searching for suspects who stole catalytic converters

Two suspects are wanted by a daycare in Liberty Township after the catalytic converters from the daycare's buses were stolen last weekend.
According to a Facebook post from Alex Kaiser, the owner of All About Kids Childcare and Learning Center located on the 7000 block of Yankee Road, someone cut the catalytic converters off three of the five buses the center owns.
Video surveillance from All About Kids shows two suspects working underneath the buses parked outside the center on Jan. 8 and 9.
According to a reporter from the Rockford Register Star, the metals in catalytic converters are a "gold mine" to thieves, with some metals selling for nearly $1,300 per once.

"We have over 200 kids enrolled at this location," Kaiser told Enquirer media partner Fox19. "So, for those guys to come in here and do this to not just our business but that affects the transportation that we provide to these families."
Segments of the surveillance video that shows the suspects climbing underneath the buses have been posted by Fox19.
Fox19 reported on Sunday that the Butler County Sheriff's Office said a police report has been filed.
