Dolores Catania is going to come out of quarantine rocking a slim new body.

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star recently chatted with Hollywood Life on July 13 and showed off her 25-pound weight loss, which included showing off her toned midsection. So, what's the secret to her success? Aside from the typical formula of watching what she eats and exercise, the Bravo reality star revealed that she achieved really great results with the help of the HCG diet and a tummy tuck.

"I lost some weight from the HCG diet. I had a lot of loose skin because I wasn’t working out, and I lost a lot of weight fast," Dolores explained. "So, I went and had a few nips and tucks."

As mentioned by the outlet, "HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) is a low-fat, low-calorie diet that combines injections of the HCG hormone with a limited-calorie plan. HCG is a hormone in which women naturally produce while pregnant. Additionally, HCG is FDA-approved for use in treating infertility."

For those wondering what it would cost to follow in Dolores' footsteps, it's not necessarily cheap, especially when it comes to getting cosmetic surgery.

The HCG diet can cost anywhere from a low $100 up to $1,000s of dollars. One Wisconsin woman ended up paying $1411 (the program itself was $1200) to a medical weight loss clinic for the services.

2019 statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons show that the average cost for a tummy tuck is just over $6000 not including the cost of "anesthesia, operating room facilities or other related expenses" which could run the total well into five figures.

The 49-year-old reality star is currently 2 sizes down in clothing from incorporating this into her regimen and she plans on maintaining her results by remaining active and keeping a healthy diet, which consists of "a lot of protein now."

"I like McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Dairy Queen. I like to eat, but I’m getting older, so I’m going to have to switch up my lifestyle," she added. "I’m trying to stay away from carbs. I’m trying to stay around 1500 calories."

"Here’s the thing, I’m turning 50 this year. I just want to go into the second half of my life being confident in every aspect of my life. I always say, 'The first half was for everybody else and the second half is for me.' When I say that, I mean I’m going to force myself to do things for myself," she continued. "I’m not used to doing things for myself. It’s something I’m working on. I’ve been through a lot, let’s say that, so I want to be my best self."
