‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: How Will Jake And Gabi React To The DNA Test Results?

They have been at odds over whether or not he is really Stefan for weeks, and now, after Gabi conducted a secret DNA test, they will finally have answers. However, what they learn will shock both her and Jake on the Thursday, July 2 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

Gabi (Camilla Banus) has remained convinced that Jake (Brandon Barash) is really her deceased husband Stefan, and that he was brought back by Rolf (William Utay) at some point on the NBC soap. Jake, meanwhile, has insisted he is who he says and that Gabi is mistaken. Now, after the two have been caught up not only in Gabi’s legal issues from when she was set up to seem like she was drugging Abigail, but also Jake’s own issues with the book Gwen (Emily O’Brien) stole from him and the mob, the time has come for the truth to come out. After secretly getting what she needed to submit a DNA test, Gabi has learned the results are in—and now, she and Jake will finally learn what they have uncovered.

However, while both expected a very different outcome from the test, they may find themselves shocked by what the results have found.

“Jake and Gabi reel over his DNA test results,” spoilers reveal.

What the test reveals could prove to be something neither one of the two expected, it is likely to be far more upsetting for Gabi, as they may prove that Jake really isn’t Stefan—though he could be surprised to learn that he may be more closely related to the departed DiMera than he thought as well.

However, no matter what the test results say, there could be more trouble brewing when it comes to Jake and who he seems to be since Stefan’s mother, Vivian (Louise Sorel) has now returned to Salem as well.

Vivian interrupted Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli’s (Lamon Archey) wedding with the intent of killing Lani out of revenge for Stefan’s death but was foiled when Rafe (Galen Gering) showed up and arrested her. She was stunned to learn as she was led away that there is a Stefan lookalike in town who could be her son, and now as she continues to hear more about him, she will demand answers as well.

If Vivian and Gabi are both now on a quest to find out if Stefan is alive, Jake’s saga with trying to prove who he really is might be far from over as a result.
