Redelfi borrows EUR 15m to develop standalone BESS projects in Italy
Apr 19, 2024 15:03 CESTUS geothermal developer Fervo Energy and Italian turbogenerator systems producer Turboden have teamed up to develop flexible, modular geothermal power systems, the companies said on Tuesday.
The projects developed by the partners will use Turdoben's organic rankine cycle (ORC) technology.
Fevro will contribute to the partnership its core know-how in subsurface development, while Turboden will help with its advanced power plant technology.
"We believe that the tradition of our systems will be strengthened by Fervo’s unique offering, to provide customers with baseload green energy," Joseph Bonafin, sales and business development manager at Turboden, noted.
Turboden is part of Japanese heavy machinery maker Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd (TYO:7011).
