Global players in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) industry who are keen on serving Asia’s burgeoning markets can rely on TCW Group’s quality HVACR equipment and parts. Composed of four engineering companies led by renowned original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Power Metal Technologies (PMT), TCW also serves the powder coating and air-conditioning heat exchanger fields through subsidiaries YM Ventilator, T-OK Industrial and HTT Industries.

“Catering to major players such as Carrier, Daikin, York and Trane, among others, we became known as the biggest OEM parts and components supplier in Malaysia,” says Tan Chee Wah, managing director of TCW. “We have our own research and development team, so we are able to develop according to capability. Quality is controlled from the design stage up to the production of the finished product.”

With 200 machines devoted to keeping its services flexible and efficient, TCW maintains broad facilities that are primed to provide a range of standardised and custom-made HVACR products and parts for commercial and industrial applications. Located near an international seaport, TCW also serves customers overseas including those in the oil and gas industry.

“We have a strong engineering team so we can meet any design, material and delivery timeline requirement,” Tan says. “For example, in the area of metal fabrication, we have our own laser equipment to complete the powder coating process unlike other manufacturers that resort to outsourcing certain operations, which contribute to delays and inefficiencies.”

TCW eyes collaborations with international HVACR companies across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and with leading brands from the United States and Europe.

“The goal, from the start, is to become a one-stop solutions provider,” Tan says. “Backed by 20 years’ experience, we are eager to grow further through partnerships and collaborations with global HVACR companies interested in tapping the Asian markets.”
