Herb and Natural Health Symposium comes to Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Natural Choices Botanica will host Clarksville’s first Herb and Natural Health Symposium on April 25.

The theme of the event is “Ancient Wisdom for Modern People” with guest speaker Robin Rose Bennett. The mission of the Herb and Natural Health Symposium is to provide educational information, products and services to those seeking alternative ways to have a more proactive role in their family and community naturally, according to a news release.

The symposium will feature classes, workshops and demonstrations that appeal to all levels of interest and experience. Sponsors and specialty vendors are still being accepted.

The Herb & Natural Health Symposium has been picked up and sponsored by Frontier Herb Company & Co-op. Frontier began as a two-person operation in 1976 in a cabin along the Cedar River in Eastern Iowa. They have grown steadily since then to become a major supplier in the booming natural products industry, the release said.

Among the sponsors are Tree of Life Center, HoneeComb Natural Hair Salon, Legacy Tea Blends, and Natural Choices Botanica and Abigail’s Apothecary.

The event will be April 25, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. at Smith-Trahern Mansion, 106 McClure St.
