Murray County deputies looking for child with autism who went missing on Halloween

Deputies are looking for 12-year-old Mathew Hopkins.

MURRAY COUNTY, Ga. — The Murray County Sheriff's Office need help finding a child who went missing on Halloween.

Murray County deputies are looking for 12-year-old Mathew Hopkins. 

Matthew, who is autistic and nonverbal, was last seen Oct. 31 around 4:45 p.m. at a location on Ball Ground Road in Chatsworth, authorities said. 

He has hazel eyes, brown hair, and weighs about 125 pounds. He's also about 5 feet 5 inches.

Matthew was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt with cartoon characters on it, gray sweatpants, and black slide-on shoes.

Authorities said anyone with information is asked to call 911 or contact the sheriff's office.
