Here comes the bride, all dressed in … pink?! Mandy Moore married her fiancé Taylor Goldsmith at an intimate ceremony at her L.A. home on Sunday, November 18, and the This Is Us star opted to follow in the footsteps of celebs like Gwen Stefani and Jessica Biel with a whimsical pink Rodarte wedding dress, and her ethereal hair and makeup only added to the modern romance vibes.
Forgoing a traditional white bridal dress, Moore instead opted for a tiered blush pink floor-length gown. The sleeveless, high-neck design featured a ruffled neckline, gathered waist with flower appliqués and a layered skirt. She paired the feminine frock with a matching veil (worn at the crown of the head), drop earrings, a single bracelet and jewel-encrusted nude heels.
When it came to her beauty look, the actress was a blushing bride through and through. Working with her long-time glam squad, the Streicher sisters, Moore opted for a flower-adorned ‘do and rosy makeup.
Calling the look her “all time favorite bridal hair” on Instagram, Garnier brand hairstylist Ashley Streicher started by prepping Moore’s tresses with the Garnier Fructis Root Amp Root Lifting Spray Mousse and Garnier Fructis Style Full & Plush Mega Full Thickening Lotion and blowing it out. Once dry, she maximized the volume with a few velcro rollers at the root.
To create loose curls throughout, she curled the hair in two-inch sections. Beginning in the back at the bottom of the head, she pinned each curl to the scalp to let it set for about 30 minutes and sprayed the Garnier Fructis Flexible Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray for hold.
After brushing out the beautiful bends, she center-parted the hair, secured it behind Moore’s ears with bobby pins and lightly misted the Garnier Fructis Extreme Control Anti-Humidity Hairspray. Finally, she placed pink babies breath buds throughout using Ardell’s Duo Quick-Set Striplash Adhesive (i.e. eyelash glue!).
Ashley’s sister, makeup artist Jen Streicher, kept the pink theme going with a gorgeous monochrome look. She enhanced the brunette beauty’s glowing complexion with a mauve blush on the apples of the cheeks. And a sparkly rose-pink eye and her-lips-but-better glossy pout completed the gorgeous wedding day glam.
