CT, NY, NJ Remove RI From Quarantine List
Rhode Islanders still must quarantine or prove a negative coronavirus test when going to Massachusetts.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Rhode Islanders are clear to enter three states at their will again.
On Tuesday, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut all removed the Ocean State from their list of states requiring a 14-day quarantine or proof of a negative coronavirus test.
Rhode Island was reclassified by the states last week following a slight uptick in cases, which Gov. Gina Raimondo and health officials blamed primarily on social gatherings without masks or social distancing.
