Palatine Legion Auxiliary holds steak dinner

The American Legion Auxiliary is holding a steak dinner which is open to the public on Friday, February 11th at the American Legion Hall 122 West Palatine Road in Palatine to raise funds for Legion Family Charities.

“We’d like to invite everyone in our community to come out and enjoy our delicious steak dinner,” said Brenda Munagian, American Legion Auxiliary President. “Dinner will be served from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. During dinner, you will also enjoy musical entertainment with your friends or loved ones.”

Tickets are $30.00 for an eight-ounce fillet mignon. To accompany your steak, the Legion will be serving a baked potato, salad, broccoli and dessert. A service bar will be open at the event and a full service bar will be open in the clubroom. Tickets can be purchased by calling 224-801-1902 until February 9th. If seating is available, tickets may be purchased at the door.

“We are always looking for new members for the American Legion Family,” said Munagian. “If you are interested in supporting those individuals who have defended our country then the American Legion, Legion Auxiliary or the Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L.) are the organizations for you. The American Legion and Legion Auxiliary began in 1919 while the S.A.L. was created in 1932 as patriotic veteran’s organizations devoted to mutual helpfulness.
