IPauer sued the activists for a video on People's Reporter.

On October 3rd, the Economic Court of Brest region ruled on the suit of the iPower LLC against the leaders of the initiative group for the struggle against the construction of the same name battery factory Dziamjan Lepiasevich and Dzmitry Bekaliuk about the protection of business reputation. Bloggers Aliaksandr Kabanau and Siarhei Piatrukhin acted as co-defendants, the Brest Newspaper reports.

The company tried to seek removal of the video "The Chief Hemorrhoids of Brest," which appeared on the youtube channel of People's Reporter bloggers on June 21 this year. In this video, Lepiasevich and Bekaliuk told about the latest events around the plant, commented and analyzed the situation and, according to iPower, voiced inaccurate information, denigrating the honor and dignity of the company, 27 times in half an hour. Also, one of the claims was the creation of a new video clip, which would refute the information from the June video.

However, in the months of the trial, iPower failed to prove that the information in the video was not true. The court decision was to dismiss the suit.

This isn't the first iPower LLC lawsuit against the activists. Last year the company filed a similar lawsuit with the regional economic court. At that time it was about a video clip about the construction of the battery factory, which was posted on the youtube channel "People's Reporter" on January 5 this year.
