FORMER SU RUNNER HAS BIG DAY IN BOSTON: Colin Bennie’s first time running the Boston Marathon turned out to be a race to remember. Bennie, a Syracuse University graduate and a member of the Orange’s 2015 cross country team that won the national championship, was the top U.S. finisher in Monday’s race, coming in seventh place overall. Meanwhile, another Syracuse alum became the first American to win the Utica Boilermaker in 30 years. (AP photo)

Babers: “I’m fine with every decision I made”: Dino Babers’ in-game coaching has come under scrutiny by the fan base after some crucial decisions didn’t go in Syracuse’s favor during Saturday’s 40-37 overtime loss to Wake Forest. On Monday, Babers defended his decisions.

Decision day for SU basketball target: One of the best high school basketball players in the country will make his long-awaited college decision today. Central New York native JJ Starling is ready to announce his college choice, and Syracuse is one of five teams on his list.
