A disgraced cop remains at-large, accused of shooting dead his former wife Amber Marie Rodriguez and another woman across two scenes in Washington state on Monday. Rodriguez, shown left, was shot dead outside of Wile Elementary School in West Richland, 200 miles south east of Seattle, around 3:20 pm on Monday. When police went to the suspect, Elias Huizar's, shown top right, home, another woman was found dead. The second victim's identity has not been made public but police have referred to her as Huizar's former girlfriend. Huizar, 39, is a former Yakima police officer. Police believe he has taken his one-year-old son, Roman, shown bottom right, that he shared with his girlfriend and is headed for Mexico 2009 silver Toyota Corolla with WA plates CBZ4745. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The Duchess of Sussex 's senior royal official, Samantha Cohen, has finally broken cover on the explosive bullying claims that first rocked Kensington Palace in 2021 and still reverberate today, writes TOM BOWER. Ms Cohen, a loyal and longstanding former palace aide, has confirmed that she was, indeed, among those interviewed by the Palace in the wake of complaints about the duchess's aggressive behaviour. Kensington Palace has released a snap of the Prince and Princess of Wales's youngest child Louis as he celebrates his birthday. Prince Louis was born on April 23, 2018 in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, like his older silings Charlotte and George. A statement from Kensington Palace at the time read: 'Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs. The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.'

On Monday, the supermodel, 27, shared an image of children in Yarmouk after an assault by dictator Bashar al-Assad during the Syrian civil war. She captioned the Instagram post: 'Gaza on my mind.' After social media users began pointing out the children in the photos were from Syria, Instagram added a note saying the post was missing important context and could mislead people. The note links to a web page that explains the images are from  a refugee camp in Syria. It reads: 'This post is misleading. This video was not filmed in Palestine. The video dates back 2013 from within the Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus.' The misleading post remains on Hadid's Instagram nearly a day after it was published and has been liked more than one million times. It's not the first time Hadid, whose father was born in Palestine, shares images from Syria that are missing context. Back in November, the millionaire posted the same images of children in Syria sharing their hopes and dreams amid war and claimed they were taken in Gaza during the ongoing conflict with Israel. The terrifying ordeal occurred early Sunday morning when the suspect (pictured left) encountered the woman on the second floor of the building near Thompson and Prince Streets in New York City. 'If you scream, I'll shoot you,' the assailant told the victim, as reported by the NYPD, who released surveillance footage of the suspect entering the building. The video captures the man wearing a black hoodie with red lettering forming a heart shape, dark pants and orange sneakers as he sneaked into the building around 4:10 am on Sunday. He followed the woman from behind, placed her in a chokehold and raped her, police said.

CCTV footage showed the alleged shooters, identified as cattle rancher Ines Gemilaki, 48, and 28-year-old emergency care doctor Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz, were seen trespassing on the home in Peixoto de Azevedo, in central Brazil, on Sunday. Newly released body camera footage shows Washington police chase a carjacking suspect inside a bingo hall and then shoot him dead after he pointed a gun at the officers. Clark County Sheriff's Office deputies tracked down two carjacking suspects - one male and one female - to an American Legion parking lot around 11 a.m. on April 13. The male suspect, later identified as 41-year-old Benjamin Steven Woods, refused to comply with the deputies and ran into the packed bingo hall while being chased by the police dog.

The choppers were among seven that had taken off simultaneously from the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) Base in Lumut, Perak, shortly after 9am local time to practice for the Navy fleet's open day celebrations in May. In a tale that could only happen in the sunshine state, a daring alligator was wrangled to safety after snuggling up to the wheels of an US Air Force plane in Florida yesterday. The reptile made a surprise appearance at Tampa's MacDill Air Force Base on Earth Day, and was captured on video resting below an aircraft before being jostled away by conservationists. In footage shared by MacDill on their Facebook page, the unexpected visitor can be seen slithering onto the tarmac and slinking near the aircraft, seemingly eyeing it as a prime nesting spot. It wasn't long before the alligator made itself comfortable and nestled itself between the colossal wheels of the plane - making the beast look pocked-sized in comparison. In a video later shared by MacDill, Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission officers can be seen springing into action as they lead to the alligator to safety.

Mike Dragich, 34, fought and subdued an 8-ft alligator in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sunday night. A licensed alligator trapper, Dragich was at a hockey game with his family when he heard about the rogue gator. Despite not having his trapping equipment with him, the MMA fighter rushed to the scene and captured the enraged alligator with his bare hands. Known as the 'Blue Collar Brawler,' Dragich has amassed a large online following. He's used the attention to promote his nonprofit that aims to prevent suicide among veterans.

The very first all-electric Range Rover is due to be unveiled later this year - but we've already been given an initial glimpse of how the battery-powered luxury SUV will look and perform. Parent company JLR (formerly Jaguar Land Rover) has revealed images and footage of its debut electric Range Rover during final-stage testing in icy conditions in the Artic Circle. It shows a prototype version of the SUV being driven in temperatures as low as -40 degrees Celsius as part of its sub-zero 'calibration assessment' - and, importantly, it's the first time we've seen the Range Rover Electric without any camouflage to hide some of its angles.
