Movies in the Park returns May 25

Movies in the Park returns May 25, Heritage Park will host free movie screening, vendors and fun, starting with "Incredibles 2".

Movies in the Park, the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series, will celebrate its 14th season as it kicks off on Saturday, May 25 with the showing of “Incredibles 2” at Heritage Park, 1241 Peachers Mill Road.

Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include a SuperHero Barrel Crush demonstration by Austin Peay State University’s College of STEM.

The movie will begin promptly at 8 p.m.

Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, and drinks; pets and alcohol are not permitted. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. A Parent Pod will be available, courtesy of Baby + Co, complete with rocking chairs, changing table and baby supplies for parents.

In the event of rain, outdoor movie screenings may have to be canceled or rescheduled. Please refer to our Facebook page,  www.facebook.com/clarksvilleparksrec, for updates about weather cancellations.

May 25: “Incredibles 2” at Heritage Park.

June 8: “Beauty and the Beast” at Heritage Park.

June 29: “Aquaman” at Heritage Park.

July 13:  “Black Panther” at Heritage Park.

July 27: “The Grinch” at Liberty Park.

Aug. 17: “Ready Player One” screening at Liberty Park.

Sept. 21: “Mary Poppins Returns” at Liberty Park.

Oct. 12: “The Karate Kid” at Liberty Park.
