Klecker, Verdell E. (Cook) Born Sept. 21, 1918 in Wausau, WI to Arthur and Martha and raised in Ellsworth, WI. Died peacefully at age 100 on June 7, 2019 at Park River Estates Care Center (PRECC) Coon Rapids, MN. Preceded in death by husband, Irvin; brother, Donald; sister, Dorothy Larson. Survived by brother, Robert; sister, Constance Strand; daughters, Janice (James) Vesall, Joanne Haugen; son, Steven; grandchildren, Beth (Andrew) Lentz, Amy (Scott) Jacobson, Paul (Jowita) Haugen, Marnie Haugen; great-granddaughters, Haley and Carley Lentz, Emily and Abby Jacobson, and Maya Haugen and many nieces and nephews. The family wants to thank the entire staff at PRECC for the eight years of kindness and compassionate care they provided Verdell. Memorials suggested to local animal humane societies. At Verdell's request, there will be a private family celebration of life at a later date.
