Great Wolf Lodge Arizona's Leap Day sale is Saturday. You can get a room for $29/person

Has your family wanted to check out the new Great Wolf Lodge Arizona, but the price seemed a bit of a leap? If so, scan your kids' school calendar for days off and set a reminder for Feb. 29 because a Leap Day sale might put the resort within your reach.

On Feb. 29, the resort will offer a Leap Day sale where you book a room for $29 per person. You can stay overnight for less than the $30 per person it costs to get a day pass to the resort.

Before you book, know the restrictions:

• The offer is for stays between April 13 and May 21, 2020.
• It is good Sunday through Thursday nights.
• It is only good on Family Suites, and you must have at least two guests per room.

Located on the Salt River Reservation near Scottsdale, Great Wolf Lodge Arizona opened in September. It boasts an 85,000-square-foot indoor water park that's climate controlled to 84 degrees year-round and has a wave pool, water slides and other play areas.

How to book: On Leap Day (Feb. 29) go to greatwolf.com, select the Arizona property and enter the code LEAPYEAR.
