EATON — The Preble County Genealogy Room is hosting Dr. Michael Robinson PhD, a geneticist at Miami University in Oxford this weekend.

Dr. Robinson will be delivering a walkthrough presentation of genealogy and DNA testing on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 2-4 p.m. at 450 S. Barron St., Eaton.

If you are interested in doing DNA testing on yourself or family members and have no idea where to start, or what to do with the information once you have it, this is the seminar for you. There will be a brief introduction to basic human genetics and how DNA testing can support genealogical investigation. Participants in the class will explore some of the features of AncestryDNA® and learn how to use DNA testing to gain insights into their ancestry.
