SANTA ROSA, CA — Two transients are accused of breaking into a Santa Rosa business early Thursday and stealing liquor and desserts, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department. Police dispatchers received a call at 2:52 a.m. Thursday from the owner of a restaurant in the 200 block of Mission Boulevard who said a burglary was in progress, SRPD Sgt. Hector De Leon said.

"Dispatchers told officers the business owner could see at least one suspect through a surveillance camera inside the business removing items," De Leon said.

As officers arrived at the business, they saw two people leaving the area.
