Weather: Last weekend of summer will feel more like fall

Saturday’s wake-up weather was a bit chilly, with a frost warning in effect.
Unfortunately the frost warning will be in effect both Saturday and Sunday night.
However, the high pressure ridge that brings the frost will also bring mainly sunny skies.
Saturday’s forecast calls for a high of 14 C, the low dipping to 0 C.
Sunday should look much the same as Saturday, the high 16 C, the low again 0 C.
The sunshine sticks around Monday and Tuesday. The high Monday 16 C and low of 6 C.
Tuesday should be warmer with the high reaching 20 C and low of 13 C.
Skies are mixed and temperatures start to rise Wednesday with a high of 21 C and low of 11 C.
Thursday is a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers and high of 17 C.
So-called normals for mid-September are highs of 19 C and lows of 9 C.
