Rock band Doobie Brothers to make a stop in Corpus Christi for their 2019 tour

This classic rock n' roll band Doobie Brothers will be a making a stop in Corpus Christi for their 2019 tour this fall.

The Doobie Brothers, best known for hits "China Grove" and "Listen to the Music," will perform Sept. 25 at the American Bank Center's Selena Auditorium.

The band released their first album in 1971 and established themselves with hit songs over several decades, including "Jesus Is Just Alright," "Black Water," "Rockin' Down the Highway," and "Long Train Runnin'." .

The American Bank Center made the announcement on its Facebook page Monday. The post has received more than 580 likes, 40 comments and 82 shares.
