Two road closures in Berrien County

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Washington Ave. and Pipestone Rd. in Berrien County will close next week for construction.
On Monday, Washington Ave. between Hilltop Road and Maiden Lan will close starting at 7:00 am and reopen Friday to finish the remaining construction.
A detour route will take passengers to Glenlord road, then Cleveland Avenue, to Hilltop Road.
Beginning Friday October 1 at 7;00 a.m. Pipestone Road will be closed from Park Road to Hochberger Road.
The closure is expected to last for one day so paving operation can patch pavement where the crosstube was recently replaced.
A detour route will be available from Pipestone Road to Naomi Road, then to Old Pipestone Road and continuing on to Main Street.
