HARRISBURG, PA — Pennsylvania reported 625 additional positive cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 70,042. Also Thursday, 108 new deaths were reported.

The state's coronavirus death toll now stands at 5,373, with 3,501 of them in residents of nursing or personal care facilities.

The counties with the highest number of deaths include Philadelphia, where there have been 1,282 deaths. In Montgomery County, there have been 656 deaths. In Delaware County, there have been 544 deaths. In Bucks County, 486 deaths have been reported and in Berks County, there have been 308 deaths.

State health officials estimate 5,279 of the total cases are in health care workers.
