Exclusive: Scary Good Films Snags Vampire/Zombies Script ENDANGERED SPECIES

Scary Good Films has picked up screenwriter Stephanie Jessop’s Endangered Species, a character-driven horror film with a modern, comedic undertone, to be the second in its growing slate of elevated, budget-conscious genre films.
Endangered Species was named Best Feature Horror Screenplay at the Shriekfest Horror Film Festival and Screenplay Competition. Jessop is also the author of the YA book, Animalcules, (see to the right) from Brick Moon Fiction.
Producers are Scary Good Film partners Kevin Niu and Shane Snoke, and Casey Wolfe. Niu will adapt the film for the Chinese market. In addition to Endangered Species, Scary Good Films is producing the thriller, Sweet Harmony, starring Ksenia Solo.
Synopsis:
An immature young vampire who must grow up fast when her survival depends on befriending and protecting humans in a zombie apocalypse.
