Ben Affleck seemed rather surprise when he was visited by his son, Saturday afternoon, amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

People reportedly saw Samuel, 8, riding a bike as he visited his father’s house in Los Angeles, CA. In the report of Daily Mail, onlookers accounted on the fact that little Sammy was not alone; in fact, his nanny was with him. Apparently, they brought over some school stuff for the “Batman” actor to review.

As Affleck made his way to the front yard, his son with Jennifer Garner was already waiting for him there to say “hi,” The News International reported. Although Affleck’s son dressed casually, he donned a dark protective helmet.

It is note-worthy, however, that social interactions nowadays are being restricted as a precautionary measure amid the COVID-19 outbreak. As for Los Angeles County, the government already issued a directive against public gatherings as published under the operational note on the website of the City of San Gabriel.

Called as “Safer At Home” order, the directive aims to prevent further transmission of COVID-19; hence, the residents of San Gabriel and Los Angeles County are obliged to stay at home, and away from groups who are not a member of their immediate family. The said order is effective from March 20 to April 19, 2020.

The permitted activities are performing essential activities like going to the groceries, buying medicine and healthcare supplies; and walking, biking, hiking, or other outdoor activities provided that it doesn’t involve a group of individuals. All permitted activities must stringently practice social distancing.

Additional inquiries or clarification on the matter can contact Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and/or California Department of Public Health.

Indeed, the fight against COVID-19 is ongoing, and while people are given the stringent directives to stay at home, reflect and spend time with family, there are some who are risking their lives to save the ones who already caught the contagious and deadly disease.

Affleck is reportedly one of those who abide by the stay-at-home policy but that doesn’t mean that he’s not working to support the brave medical front liners and the organizations whose been supporting the victims of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just a few days ago, Affleck donated The Midnight Mission, who shared that their meal service lines doubled over 24 hours.

The Midnight Mission is providing meals to the homeless in Los Angeles, according to the report of Showbiz CheatSheet. Other than that, members are also educating and making people aware on the necessary precautions to stay safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This advocacy had already helped a lot of people; hence, Affleck’s plea for kind-hearted people to support the said group.
