YOUTH SPORTS CAMP—The Fountain Central Youth Sports Camp for football, vollyeball and basketball will take place May 31 through June 3 at Fountain Central High School. LAFAYETTE JEFF HALL OF FAME—On Saturday, April 30, Lafayette Jeff baseball will induct its second Hall of Fame class. Twenty-two individuals are being honored in ceremonies that will take place indoors at the Jeff Cafeteria at 4 p.m. due to potential rain issues. An alumni game will take place right after this. WEST LAFAYETTE GOLF OUTING — The annual West Lafayette High School Athletic Department Golf Outing will take place June 17 at Purdue’s Kampen Course. GOLF OUTING—The fifth annual Ryan Kerrigan/12th Boiler Golf Outing will take place May 6 at Purdue’s Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. Proceeds support scholarships and Ryan Kerrigan’s Blitz For The Better Foundation. Kerrigan, a former Purdue All-American and an All-Pro linebacker with the NFL’s Washington Redskins, will play in the scramble event. HOST FAMILIES—The Lafayette Aviators are seeking families to house college-age players from the last week in May through the second week in August. Aviators players are self sufficient and need little beyond a bed and a few meals throughout the summer. Due to the team’s schedule, players will spend approximately 35 days in the household with a majority of the time playing baseball at Loeb Stadium or on road trips with the team. Host families will receive 2016 season tickets for the immediate family, a 25 percent discount on team merchandise, guaranteed giveaway items and on-field recognition. SOFTBALL CALLOUT—Sign up now for the Co-Ed Softball League at Carroll County Community Center. Players ages 17 and up with a maximum of 20 players per team and a maximum of 12 teams in the league.
