After Palm Desert Woman's Arrest, Second Burglary Suspect Named

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — After a Palm Desert woman was arrested earlier this week on suspicion of burglarizing a Pinyon Pines home, a 48-year-old La Quinta man has also been arrested in the case.

David Scott Taylor, who was arrested Thursday in Indio, is the second suspect arrested this week stemming from an investigation into a Dec. 12 daytime break-in at the residence in the 71-400 block of Highway 74, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Kimberly Ann Watson, 52, of Palm Desert, was arrested Monday and charged Thursday with burglary. She pleaded not guilty and remains jailed in the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning on $35,000 bail. She is scheduled to return to court for a felony settlement conference on Jan. 28.

Taylor is being held at the Indio jail on $35,000 bail on suspicion of first-degree burglary, being a felon in the possession of a firearm and conspiracy to commit a crime, jail records show.
He is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday at the Larson Justice Center in Indio.
