As the state’s stay-at-home order due to the coronavirus pandemic continues into April, a number of community groups, businesses, universities and other organizations are extending their list of cancellations and closures in the central Pennsylvania region.

Below is a list -- in alphabetical order by organization -- of what’s closed, postponed or cancelled. We will continue to update this list as information comes in from news sources, email, Twitter, and directly from organization officials.

The AACA Museum in Hershey is closed to the public until further notice.

The Allen Theatre in Annville is currently closed. The Patsy Cline and Friends Tribute has been rescheduled to September 27. The Celtic Spring Concert has been rescheduled to April 18th, 2021.

The American Music Theatre in Lancaster has postponed all performances through mid-July. Information on refunds and potential reschedule dates can be found on the venue’s website.

Animal Rescue in New Freedom has canceled its Doggie Egg Hunt scheduled for June 6, 2020. If you preregistered for the event, please check your email (and spam folder) for an email regarding your payment.

The 20th anniversary Anne Fund Sports Memorabilia Auction has been postponed to Oct. 17 at the Hebron Catering Hall in Lebanon.

The Appalachian Trail Hall of Fame Banquet has been postponed to Nov. 7.

The Appell Center for the Performing Arts, York, will be closed through mid-May. All performances have been postponed or canceled during that time.

The Art Association of Harrisburg School and Galleries at 21 N. Front St., Harrisburg, is currently closed due the Governor’s directive. However, classes, exhibitions and events are being planned for after the shutdown and can be found on the organization’s website.

The Arts at Millersville has canceled performances and events scheduled for the 2019-2020 season at the Millersville University Ware Center, Lancaster, and Winter Visual and Performing Arts on the university campus. They look forward to welcoming everyone to its 2020-2021 season.

The Art Association of Harrisburg’s “2020 Vision Gala” has been rescheduled to July 25. The reservation deadline is July 15.

The Association of Faculty and Friends of the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center has rescheduled its 2020 AFF Gala to Oct. 23.

Ballroom Break Dance Studio in Fairview Township has canceled all dance lessons until further notice.

Camp Curtin YMCA has canceled its 2020 Exposure Tour and the Family Affair Concert and Community Celebration scheduled for April 11.

Carlisle Events has rescheduled the Spring Carlisle and Auction to June 17-20; Carlisle Ford Nationals will be July 31 through Aug. 2, and the Carlisle Import and Performance Nationals has been rescheduled to Aug. 14-16.

Carlisle Regional Performing Arts Center has announced the extension of its temporary closure of the Carlisle Theatre until further notice. The “Top of the World” concert will be held Nov. 27; The Outlaws concert will be held Sept. 12; The Foreigners Journey show was rescheduled to Sept. 18 and the The British Invasion Years show was rescheduled for Dec. 5. Tickets purchased for the previous dates are valid.

Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet will be closed until further notice. During this time, CPYB’s administrative offices are operational with both staff onsite and working remotely. In addition, upcoming performances of “Giselle” are canceled.

The Crayola Experience in Easton is closed until further notice.

Cumberland County Library System has reopened its seven locations, but with varying restrictions. Online services are still available. All locations will have limited services, with most library hours returning to normal, some libraries will offer no-contact pick-up of books on hold and some will offer limited public computer use. Face masks and social distancing required.

  • The Friends of the Simpson Public Library Book Sale scheduled for June 19-21 has been canceled.

Dauphin County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) has postponed A Story Night: Raising Awareness and Funding originally scheduled for May 28 to May of 2021.

The Dauphin County Library System is planning to reopen, in a limited capacity, on June 5. Visit the website for details.

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has canceled all public programs and events in state parks and forests until further notice.

Derry Township news:

  • As of May 22, the yard waste drop-off center is open. Residents are required to wear masks at all times or entry will be denied. Access will be limited to 12 vehicles at a time. Mulch is available for pick-up. Hours: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Closed on major holidays.
  • Recycling Center remains closed.
  • Summer Day Camp Program 2020: canceled.

The Eisenhower National Historic Site in Gettysburg is closed until further notice.

The Elizabethtown Fair, originally scheduled for August, has been canceled.

Ephrata Cloister has canceled its June 27 Artisans In The Park. It is expected to return in 2021.

The Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville is closed until further notice.

The Lititz-based Friendship Heart Gallery & Studio has postponed its 17th Annual Art Auction to July 16.

The Fulton Theatre in Lancaster has announced the following postponements:

  • The musical “Kinky Boots” has been rescheduled for Aug. 11-30.
  • The Eichmann Family Series production of “Snow White” has been rescheduled for Aug. 15-29.
  • The production of “The Whipping Man,” previously scheduled to run March 24 through April 11, will now run Aug. 18-29.
  • “Titanic" will run Sept. 8 through Oct. 4.
  • The Eichmann Family Series production of “The Little Mermaid” will run Sept. 19 through Oct. 3.
  • The production of “Fun Home” will run Oct. 6-25.
  • “Jersey Boys,” previously scheduled to run June 2 through July 12, will now run Oct. 13 through Nov. 15.
  • The Eichmann Family Series production of “Beauty and the Beast,” previously scheduled to run June 13 through July 11, will now run Oct. 24 through Nov. 14.
  • “Phantom,” previously scheduled to begin the 2020/2021 Mainstage Season Sept. 15 through Oct. 11, 2020, will now run Aug 3-29, 2021.
  • “Hillary and Clinton,” previously scheduled to begin the 2020/2021 Ellen Arnold Groff Series Oct. 8-25, will be canceled and replaced with a to be determined production, running Dec. 8 through Jan. 3, 2021.
  • Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” previously scheduled to run Nov. 10 through Dec. 27, will now have a condensed run Dec. 1 through Jan. 3, 2021. The Eichmann Family Series production of The Nutcracker, previously scheduled to run Nov. 28 through Dec. 26, will now run Dec. 12 through Jan. 2, 2021.
  • All other productions for the 2020/2021 season will remain as scheduled.

The Gamut Theatre Group in Harrisburg has suspended all public activity through Sept. 1. This includes Free Shakespeare in the Park, Gamut Theatre Summer Academy, and the Popcorn Hat Players Children’s Theatre summer show.

The Gettysburg National Military Park’s visitors center and museum are closed until further notice. The Pennsylvania Memorial and all observation towers are also closed.

The Giant Center in Hershey has canceled or postponed the following events:

  • Harlem Globetrotters, postponed; date TBD.
  • Disney on Ice, canceled.
  • For King & Country, postponed; date TBD.
  • Elton John, postponed; date TBD.
  • Volbeat, canceled.
  • Nickelodeon’s JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M. The Tour, postponed, date TBD.
  • Jim Gaffigan, postponed; Nov. 6.
  • James Taylor and Jackson Browne, rescheduled to July 1, 2021.
  • Lauren Daigle, rescheduled to March 18, 2021.
  • KidzBop, postponed; date TBD.
  • Phish, rescheduled to Aug. 10-11, 2021.
  • Joyce Meyer, canceled.

The annual Harrisburg Jewish Film Festival is tentatively postponed to Sept. 10-17.

Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra has canceled its April Masterworks and Pops concerts and rescheduled its “Music in the Key of We” performance to Nov. 14.

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary will be closed through June 14.

Harrisburg University has postponed the following concerts:

  • Brit Floyd at Hershey Theatre, rescheduled for Aug. 6-7.
  • Young the Giant at the Forum, now rescheduled for Dec. 12.
  • Black Pumas at XL Live, rescheduled date TBA
  • Bishop Briggs at XL Live, rescheduled for Oct. 16
  • Barnes Courtney at XL Live, rescheduled date TBA
  • PVRIS at XL Live, rescheduled for Nov. 21
  • Of Monsters and Men, originally scheduled for June 4 at Riverfront Park, rescheduled date TBA

Harrisburg Young Professionals have canceled all events until May 18.

Hershey’s Chocolate World will be closed until further notice.

Hershey Gardens and the Hershey Story museum will be closed until further notice.

The following events at Hershey Theatre have either been canceled or postponed:

  • Red Hot Chili Pipers, canceled.
  • Brit Floyd, rescheduled for Aug. 24 and 25, 2021.
  • Hershey Symphony Orchestra: National Treasures concert, rescheduled for Aug. 1, 2020.
  • Ron White, rescheduled for Nov. 20.
  • Blue Man Group, postponed; date TBD.
  • Nate Bargatze, rescheduled to Oct. 3.
  • The Beach Boys, rescheduled for April 7, 2021.
  • “Waitress,” rescheduled for Dec. 8-13.
  • Wild Kratts, rescheduled for Nov. 11.
  • Baby Shark Live! rescheduled for Sept. 30.
  • “Book of Mormon” musical, canceled.

The following concerts/events at Hersheypark Stadium have been canceled for 2020:

  • Zac Brown Band, canceled.

Keystone Theatrics in Boiling Springs has canceled performances of “The Marvelous Wonderettes", originally scheduled for April 24-May 10. The production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” originally scheduled for April 24-May 10, has been postponed. All ticket sales are currently suspended.

Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg has canceled its last two shows of its season -- “The Last Days of Judas iscariot” and “Murder at West Moon Street.” Email the theater at ltmechanicsburg@gmail.com.

The Luhrs Center in Shippensburg has canceled all of its upcoming events.

Majestic Theater in Gettysburg has announced that all public events at the theater are canceled through Aug. 31 and the theater is closed until further notice.

Market Square Concerts has canceled its April 26 concert featuring the Stuart & Friends. Contact them by email aquist@marketsquareconcerts.org to request refund or choose to donate the cost to support Market Square Concerts. The organization hopes to reschedule the program for its 40th anniversary season 2021-22.

The Mechanicsburg Museum Association’s museum buildings will be closed until further notice.

The Middle Creek Visitors Center, located at Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in Lancaster and Lebanon counties has been closed until further notice. Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area public access areas and trails will remain open for public use and recreation.

Mount Gretna Cicada Music Festival has rescheduled its Bronx Wanderers concert from June 4 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Mount Gretna Playhouse.

The National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg will be closed until further notice.

Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art in Millersburg will be closed until further notice. An artist’s reception scheduled for March for Jennifer Lynn Becker’s “Botanical Art for Native Gardens” has been postponed, with a date to be announced shortly.

All Pennsylvania 4-H events and activities have been postponed until further notice.

The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission has closed all of its state-owned historic sites and museums, regardless of location,until further notice.

Perry County Council of the Arts’ two Newport locations — Landis House, 67 N. Fourth St., and PCCA Gallery, 1 S. Second St. — will be closed to the public until further notice.

The Susquehanna Art Museum is closed until further notice. The “Night at the Museum” event has been rescheduled to Sept. 26.

The Turkey Hill Experience in Columbia is closed until further notice.

The West Shore Symphony Orchestra has canceled its May 2 family concert and May 3 Masterworks Concert at the Carlisle Theatre. Tickets already purchased for the May 3 concert will be honored at the symphony’s concert on Nov. 8.

The Whitaker Center in Harrisburg is temporarily closed.

XL Live is closed to the public until further notice. The following shows have been postponed:

  • The Low Cut Connie concert has been postponed to June 12.
  • BOB 94.9 Birthday Bash, date TBD
  • Badfish, date TBD

YWCA Lancaster will transition its annual Race Against Racism to a virtual race for 2020. Details can be found online.

YWCA York has canceled its Y-Tri 2020 that was scheduled for June 28 at Lake Redman. Those who registered will receive an email to refund or donate their registration fee.
