Watch The Adorable Dog Who Refused to Get Out of Bed Until 'Their' Baby Falls Asleep

A sweet dog named Millie is taking the internet by storm after a video on Reddit went viral. The 40-second clip shows the husky laying in bed next to a toddler, who she seems to like a lot. While her adult owners demand Millie gets out of the bed, she appears to have other ideas.

Millie won't leave her pillow-lined post until the toddler falls asleep.

About halfway through the clip, the owner gives up trying to coax Millie out of bed. Instead, with laughter, he throws the bed's comforter over her and allows her to curl up and sleep with the small child.

The video cuts to a later scene in which the baby is asleep, and Millie has cozied up just inches from the child's nose. She puts her arm around the child and they doze off together like the best friends the internet has ever seen.

Millie and her best buddy have been given a list of awards on Reddit, including those pertaining to cute and wholesome content.

Naturally, commenters on the r/aww post were thrilled with the wholesome content, and spent the comments reflecting on how great huskies are. "Love when dogs use beds like humans. She's got her blanket and pillow. Now shes [sic] heading to sleepy town," wrote u/errrrie.

Another complained that they'd never have such a wholesome moment because of their own dog allergy. Reddit delivered by suggesting allergy medications, and reminding the user that some people grow out of pet allergies.

The leading comment, though, is one that reflects on the sometimes reckless nature of the always-energetic huskies. U/RamAir17 explained "Huskies are crazy. Mine's currently digging a hole to the bottom of my foundation."

The responses were gold. "If you train it right you can have an in-ground pool by the end of the week," responded u/lidore12.

But conversations centered back in on the toddler's incredible bond with his dog, even at such a young age. "This video will be so precious for that little guy when he grows up," wrote u/nuclearball. "Imagine going through a rough patch in life, or even depression, and you open your phone to see this video of yourself taken care unconditionally by your best friend who probably passed away at that point. Speaking of experience."

If you want to see more Millie and toddler adventures, you're in luck. The husky has a YouTube page: milperthuskey. And she's already famous. The dog's channel has a whopping 1.76 million subscribers and posts videos every day. Plus...Millie has a husky brother named Rupert. Double the dogs, double the fun! That's so much husky content to keep you warm and fuzzy throughout quarantine. You can watch the videos here.
