Garment Decorating Franchise in St. Louis Aims to Promote Awareness for Veterans

St. Louis, MOBig Frog Custom T-Shirts & More®, a locally-owned, high-technology garment decorating franchise where customers have the freedom to design their own apparel, announced today that new leadership will be running the St. Louis location situated at 10552 Old Olive Street Road in Creve Coeur.

The Big Frog location will be owned and operated by Denise Pohl. Pohl - however is most proud of being the mother of twin daughters and her son; a marine veteran who served two tours in Iraq, and a grandmother. As a part of the network of parents who has had a child that served, Pohl aims to use her new business to form partnerships with veteran organizations, such as providing fundraising support or materials to non-profits, such as The Kaufman Fund. Customers can help in Big Frog’s partnership with The Kaufman Fund by purchasing specially designed shirts, with a portion of the proceeds going directly towards the local charity’s efforts to support veterans and children in need.

“I didn’t realize what a sacrifice our military men, women and families made on a daily basis until I became the mother of a deployed Marine,” Pohl stated. “As a way to give back to our military men and women, I currently volunteer with the USO and the American Red Cross, but also wanted to create a business that serves others. Big Frog will let me fulfill my lifelong dream of being an entrepreneur and also continue to support America’s finest.”

Big Frog combines creativity with cutting-edge technology and brings a personalized service to local markets. The unique design technology makes it a fast, individualized and convenient service that leaps beyond competition. The brand’s Direct to Garment (DTG) printing bonds the ink to the fabric’s molecules allowing products to be washed in both hot and cold water and with color-safe bleaching without risking damage, crack or peel to the image.

“With the right people and tools in place, our brand is focused on nationwide growth, and we are pleased to have such a talented and ambitious team,” said Tina Bacon-DeFrece, President of Big Frog. “We look forward to a successful and long-lasting relationship with Denise, and hope to establish even more franchise relationships in the St. Louis area in the years to come.”
