DENVER (KDVR) — Some Colorado school districts have announced plans to cancel classes due to concerns about the coronavirus.

Many colleges and universities have also switched to online classes because of the virus.

Below is a list of public school districts that have announced school closures. It will be updated:

  • Adams 12 Five Star Schools – Classes canceled from March 16-27.
  • Adams 14 School District – Classes canceled from March 16-27. “Schools are scheduled to reopen on Monday, March 30 if conditions allow,” the district said.
  • Aspen School District will be closed from March 16-March 20.
  • Aurora Public Schools and Pickens Technical College – Classes canceled from March 16 until at least March 30. Spring break was already planned for March 16-20. The district says it will decide by March 27 whether classes will resume on March 30.
  • Brighton 27J – Classes canceled through March 27, the end of spring break. All 27J events and activities are also canceled until further notice.
  • Boulder Valley School District – Classes canceled from March 13 through March 27, the end of spring break.
  • Cherry Creek School District – Classes canceled through March 27. Spring break was already planned for March 16-20.
  • Clear Creek School District RE-1 will be closed March 16-March 27.
  • Cherry Hills Christian School – Remote learning March 23 – 27.
  • Denver Academy – Classes canceled from March 16 – March 30.
  • Denver Public Schools – Classes canceled from March 16 through April 6. Spring break was already planned for March 30-April 3.
  • Douglas County School District – Classes canceled from March 16-27.
  • Eaton School District will be closed from March 16 – March 29.
  • East and West Grand Schools will be closed to all students starting March 16.
  • Elbert School District – Classes canceled from March 17-27. School will resume on March 31. Classes will be dismissed at 1:06 p.m. Friday, March 13.
  • Englewood School District – Classes canceled from March 16-27.
  • Jeffco Public Schools – All school buildings will be closed for in-person classes from March 16 through March 20. Spring break was already planned for March 23-27.
  • Littleton Public Schools – Classes canceled from March 16-27. Spring break was already planned for March 23-27.
  • Mapleton Public Schools will extend spring break. There will be no school for students March 16 – March 27.
  • Pinnacle Charter School – Classes canceled from March 16 – March 27.
  • Poudre School District – Closed from March 16 – March 27.
  • Sheridan School District No. 2 – Closed from March 16-27.
  • St. Vrain Valley Schools – Classes canceled from March 13 through March 27, the end of spring break.
  • Thompson School District – Closed through end of school year.
  • Weld County RE-4 – Classes canceled from March 16 – April 5.
  • Weld County RE-8 – Classes canceled from March 13 through March 27.
  • Weld County RE-3J – Classes canceled from March 13 through March 27.
  • Westminster Public Schools – Classes canceled from March 16-27. Spring break was already planned for March 23-27.
