Even though it’s starting to get colder just about everywhere these days, the pizza chain that LeBron James owns is turning up the heat on their menu by including a new menu item for a limited time: the Nashville Hot Chicken pizza.

According to a new announcement from the company, LeBron’s Blaze Pizza will be carrying their new Nashville Hot Chicken pizza starting today at all their locations across the country. The pizza features ghost pepper chicken meatballs, topped with a creamy, yet vinegary slaw to help balance out the flavor. It is also drizzled with Frank’s Red Hot sauce.

“When we began to think about what a Hot Chicken Pizza would taste like, it was critical that our version delivered a taste profile that paid homage to the unique flavor, crunch and heat of authentic Nashville Hot Chicken,” said Executive Chef and Blaze Pizza co-founder, Brad Kent. “What we created is a harmonious blend of taste and texture by combining spicy peppers with a creamy, tangy slaw to balance things out. Whether you’re a fan of spicy food, or just looking for a new culinary experience, the Blazin’ Hot Chicken Pizza is for you.”

Basically, the Hot Chicken is Blaze’s own riff on the very popular Buffalo Chicken pizza. However, this has the added element of freshness with the slaw.
